Mary's Great Wall of China Challenge is being undertaken with Val Stones a near neighbour who has become something of a celebrity as a consequence of appearing on the 2016 "Great British Bake Off". Along with Lynne and Bev (Mary's masseuse) they are together undertaking the Charity Challenge of a trek on the Great Wall of China. Those able to join in regularly meet at about 4.00pm to undertake a quick walk around the valley. This walk has either a long gentle uphill or descent or a shorter steeper climb or drop and in either direction presents useful training for the challenge to come.
