We had hoped that the weather would be kind to us for the first day of the Walk 500 Challenge, but it has rained steadily for most of the day and in the end we decided to put on wet weather clothes and just do our local "round the valley" walk. So we start with just 2.39 miles in the log! But the forecast looks a great deal better for tomorrow and we plan to walk one of those featured in our recently delivered "Country Walking" magazine - Will's Neck in the Quantocks.
